Ms. Eisenstein has been a criminal defense attorney since joining the San Diego County Public Defender’s Office in 1993. In 2006, Ms. Eisenstein left public employment to start her own firm, focusing solely on criminal defense.

Ms. Eisenstein has over 17 years experience working with Judges, prosecutors, the probation department and other defense lawyers in the San Diego County Court system. Ms. Eisenstein has also appeared frequently in Los Angeles, Riverside, and Orange County Courts.

Ms. Eisenstein represents clients charged with offenses ranging from minor traffic infractions to serious felony charges. She has aggressively and effectively represented thousands of people charged with criminal offenses. She has been successful in convincing the District Attorney’s office to not file charges, getting cases dismissed, obtaining a reduction in charges and time in prison and jail, winning jury trials, convincing Judges to dismiss cases due to violation of her client’s constitutional rights, keeping people out of jail when in violation of probation, and expunging criminal records.
